I am a PhD student, working on volcanoes in Italy and in the Reunion Island. I am energic and funny (well.... I hope;) ). My leitmotiv is work hard/play hard, and I swear the hard part is real!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will begin the last year of my PhD, and I am gonna spend it on the Reunion Island. I know nothing and nobody on this island and I am sure that some Couchsurfing experiences can help me feel like home over there!

Interests

I work a lot at the moment but when I leave my office, I AM OFF! I love meeting poeple, getting out and having some drinks while chatting and listening to crazy life experiences. I also like sports, and specially climbing volcanoes which is really a good thing because it's a big part of my job!
And of course I love music: I'm almost listening to music all day long!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kind of music, but I'm fond of rock n roll! My favourite bands are The Doors, Pink Floyd and Oasis.
I don't really have favourite movies but I love going to the cinema and I know that Quentin Tarantino will never disapointing me.
About books, I have to admit that at the moment, I am totally crazy about Frederic Begbeider!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 3 weeks on the very top of the Etna volcano without electricity, hot water or even drinkable water! It was amazing to wake up every day with the fabulous smell of rotten eggs and the smoke of craters all around. Amazing!

As I am arriving on an Island that I don't know anything about, I'm not gonna teach much... But I can not wait to meet poeple and to discover the place!
