ABOUT ME

I'm currently a middle and high school teacher of History, Geography, and Art History. I studied History and Politics at the university and afterwards I did a Master in education. Right now I'm focused on improving my skills as a teacher and learning how the motivation mechanisms work. My big passion is music and I love to listen to it, go to concerts and play it. What I really play is drums, but I like to play the guitar aswell. And actually I´m learning how to play a little bit of the piano and bass guitar. Someday I would like to learn how to sing aswell! Last but not least, I also love comics, and I'm starting to write scripts of my own stories, but I'm still a beginner :P

I love to travel and to get to know new people and places. And I´m really looking forward to the day I can travel to new cultures and continents, I really love Europe and Asia, and I'm not stopping going there by no means! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled with couchsurfing quite a few times and all of them became wonderful experiences. Thanks to Couchsurfing I could talk and learn a lot about the places where I was travelling and enjoy them a lot more. Our hosts always showed us things about the city and the culture, and we could talk, discuss, and debate about our similitudes and differences. I'm really looking forward to my next experience.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I`ve been loving fantasy, history and travel books since I was really young, and every book that makes you learn something new and interesting. I also love comics of all kinds, I started as a child with Manga and afterwards I continued reading graphic novels from Europe and the US.

About movies I´m not an expert but I like to enjoy a good story and good photography in a movie.

And how I said before I love all genders of music, I´m especially familiar with rock, because is the gender that I have been playing in bands for a long time. But I like to listen and discover different kinds of music. I like folk, reggae, ska, jazz, soul, blues, rock, rock n roll, hard rock, hip hop, and some electronic music, Anyways, I still have to discover more about new genders and the ones I already know.

Anyways, if I have to simplify I would say that what I really love is relaxing music of any gender.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The most amazing thing I´ve done is:

Playing music with my friends in front of a lot of people, sharing my music and the effort I put into learning the instruments.

Sharing a classroom with my students!

I have been in one of the hottest place of the world (the Sahara Desert in Morocco), and in one of the coldest (Lapland, in Finland and Norway)

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach how to play some music, at least the little i know! And I can teach the languages I know, especially spanish. Also, I can share what I know about societies and history, especially from Europe and Spain, but also something about the places I've travelled to.

About learning, I would like to learn anything that is interesting for others, all skills that can be usefull in life, and can make you improve as a person. I´m especially interested in cooking, languages and folk music of the country I´m visiting.
