I was born in Jeonju-si, where is most ‘Korean’ province in Korea. Because my father is a army officer, I moved 23 times in my life.(once a year on average). Thanks to frequent movement, now I can adjust any situation and environment quite well.
I was interested in efficiency and economy, so I majored in Industrial and Financial Engineering in university.(Mar.1st.2010.~Feb.13th.2014.) After I graduated university, I started military service for last two years because Korea is a conscript nation(Mar.1st.2014.~Feb.29th.2016.) I served as a Marine officer and work as a chief of S-4(logistics office) at transportation battalion. I did supply, safety, equipment, facility management of my group.
Right after I finished military duty, I leaved Korea the next day, 1st March. I traveled Czech, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Spain, Scotland, England, France, Switzerland so far and now I'm in Germany. And I'm planning to go Poland, Greece and Turkey than go back Korea at May 28th.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I wanna make foreign friends and experience their culture. What I expect for this travel is not only see amazing buildings and artpieces but also experience how people living in other country think, feel and live. I wanna know other people and their nation by staying with them.

兴趣

First of all, I love music. I like to sing a song and I performed three times at the stage in my life.
And I really love food. Delicious food is the Engines of my life. I’m also interested in food culture in other countries and their markets, restaurants. I’m not good at drinking but I like to do it, because I’m a sort of person who love to hangout with friends and make new friends.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music : I love R&B music and Korean ballad. And Brian Mcknight is my favorate pop singer and love to listen his sweet voice. Among tens of wonderful songs, ‘Home’ and ‘Whenever you call’ are my favorite.
Movies : I'm don’t see many movies but I like lighthearted and lessoned flims such as ‘About Time’.
Books : I set a goal to read many books every year, but always it’s fail.. Among only a few books, HarryPorter series are my favorite.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I served as a Chief of S4(Logistics office) at the end of my millitary service. For my last mission, my commander ordered me to educate the use of ‘Logistics Information System’ to all officers in my battalion. To accomplish the virtue of making the end well, I prepared a lot. After I finished my education about 40min, my commander said, “You always have achieved more than I expected. And everyone is thanking you for your efforts.”. And everyone in the meeting room start to clap and offer words of encouragement. It was a never-to-be-forgotten day in my life.

Even though I’m not good at teaching, I have several teaching experience such as private instructor and tutor. One memorable experience is teaching mathematics and English to soldiers in my battalion. Some of them had studied one more to enter new university so I taught them at lunch and after work. Even if they didn’t make their goals, they develop study habit and enthusiastic attitude in difficult circumstances. And their passion motivate me to teach and study harder. I think this experience would be helpful to our lives.

As I mentioned before, I love food and actully I’m good at cook. (If I can prepare some ingredients and materials.) I wanna serve Korean food to my Hosts.
And the most important thing is that I’ll be their host, when they come into Korea. I’m living in Dongcheon where is an 30min take to Seoul. I hope that we become closer while we share not huge things but able to do.
