ABOUT ME

Really excited to finally spare some time to register here. I was advised to register here by my friends when I was visiting Vienna, Austria. During our night out time in one of the night clubs in Vienna, these two amazing people talked about their unforgettable couchserfing experiences and insisted that I need to register. SO here i am, registering to explore the world, cultures and people and get amazing experiences. I would be so much happy to meet you somewhere in Baku and show what we have got in this small but still interesting city. I am looking forward to travel too :) A bit about me: I was born and grown up here in Baku, Azerbaijan. 90's in Azerbaijan were horrifying. Collapse of Soviet Union, Collapse of the economy and political destabilization. So I had nothing to do but studying. After graduating from Bachelors, I did my two years masters in the USA, winning prestigious Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship Program. I am now back to Azerbaijan, and I work for telecom company. I would describer myself as open-minded person who always wants to explore and get involved in adventures. I find it fascinating how various cultures are different from each other and how exploring these differences helps to expand our understanding of the world and to grow as global citizens. I believe couchserfing is really a different experience, because traveling like a tourist does not give you a cultural depth that couchserfin does.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can show around the city, since I was born here, i am pretty knowledgeable about the history of the city. Also we can hang out in bars, clubs and disco's. I have friends too who would probably be willing to join and have fun. I also want to travel the world and explore new cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately I do not have any experience in couchserfing, but it is never late to join.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once made a mistake while booking my airfare from New York to Dallas. So there was almost two day gap between i had to check out from hotel and check in airport. So I stayed outside :) that was quite amazing :)
