About Me
Right now In Brazil visitando amigos, conhecendo e olhando novas possibilidades...
I,m from Xixona, South-East of Spain, is a very small village but "worldwide" famous because of its delicious sweet "turrones" and its ice-creams - not as famous as Italian ones, but as or more delicious. :-))
Xixona’s People have traditionally migrated many months a year, during summer season, Christmas and other festivities in order to sell that products, going back home after that.
Legend said that man could cross the entire Iberian Peninsula, from Pyrenees to Strait of Gibraltar, jumping from one Xixonenca ice-cream shop to the next one...
Not selling ice-cream neither turrones (but always some in the back) I’m also migrating... usually looking for new (or old) experiences, people, skies, suns, moons, landscapes, musics, jobs, learnings... sometimes just to relax, observe... to say hello... just to stay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before knowing "couchsurfing" I hosted some people when I,ve got place for that... and I been hosted lots of times... In fact, I,ve barely used couchsurfing ... That,s why I,ve no references. However I,ve been living for months in some wonderful people homes in different countries...
But it,s clear that "couchsurfing" is a really practical way of contact people. Fantastic. An unknown's phone number written in a small piece of paper in your pocket is almost a romantic relic.
I believe helping (hosting, guiding, showing, sharing, informing...) each other when travelling (also in many other spheres of life) has been the natural way of many cultures and it should be "The Philosophy".
Even - at current times of individualism, competitiveness and commercialization of everything; " I have a Mother to sell... are you interested in?? - this natural behaviour seems to be revolutionary and subversive... Ohhhh!! :-O
