About Me
_______________________________________________________________________________________
I am sorry about being late with answers to some requests. I am trying to fix the thing changing my e-mail because I don't use current one and therefore don't receive notifications in time.

We are out of Minsk from the 16th of August until the 15th of September at least.

Hi, my name is Oksana and I'm looking for new friends from around the world.
Not something extraordinary, I see.
I am from the East of Ukraine, but currently live in Minsk, Belarus. It is an amazing city, I've chosen it deliberately from several opportunities, because it is extremely clean, spacious and has its own spirit.
I have plenty of interests and would be glad to meet people who share some of them.
I live and host with my partner, Daniil, and he is even more keen on travelling and hosting than me. We often travel together, but sometimes have solo trips.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I often host my friends and acquaintances from other cities and countries, and their friends as well, because I like having guests and it doesn't give me any bother. I think, finding guests (and hosts) at couchsurfing should be even more interesting. I also love travelling and really enjoy possibility to stay with local people, for it helps understand the way of living abroad much better.
Interests
Reading books, playing board games and computer games (strategies, RPG), riding bicycle, camping, hiking, city tourism. Celtic culture and Irish dance. Modern science and tecnologies. Languages. Guitar playing. Steampunk, postapocalypse, distopia. Mountains. Modern Art. Space programs and search for exoplanets. Left-wing politics, equality, cosmopolitanism. Cats, owls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2011 I took a hitchhiking trip from the East of Ukraine to St. Petersburg and then to the Altai Mountains, where I had a two-week trek in the most amazing and beautiful places. The total distance covered is more than 10 000 km. It still remains the most memorable journey I ever had. Some photos from that trip could be seen in my profile.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia
