ABOUT ME

Hi, friends in the world! My name is Luis chacha. I am live in archidona, Napo surrounded beatuful nature of Amazon.

I work as a guide in Cavernas Jumandy(The second greatest cave in Ecuador), also I know a lot of places which is not only for tourism but also for the places only local people know.

I love to teach how is the life in amazon and how we get along with The Mother Nature.

I live with a big famliy and we have a lot of houses around Cavernas Jumandy. We all works together, so you can also know all members of my family. All of them are really lovely.

I am also so positive and like to know more about the world. Also, I still try to know more places in Napo. Whenever I have time, I enjoy exploring the cave, waterfall and mountains which is not famous for tourists.

ABOUT MY HOUSE

-Information-
I have two private rooms, one kitchen. The rooms are independent, not inside of my house. You can bring your foods and cook in the kitchen. It is humble haha, but It is enough for you to stay in napo.
There is a small market you can buy 1 minutes from the house. It is so close.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH US

1. tours in cavernas jumandy(Tour in the cave Cavernas Jumandy)
This cave is the second greatest cave in Ecuador and I am a guide here. So you can experience the best cave in Napo. And this is free for you.

2. Medicina de natural, comida y bebida ancestral.(Teach how is Foods, Drinks and Medicine in amazon)

My house is surrounded by all natures and and I know foods, drinks and medicine by making in natural way. I can teach a lot of histories in Amazon.

3. Tours en los lugares, adventuras muy especiales(Tours to the places and adventures which is muy special, awesome)

I am famous guide in Napo(Licensed in government). I have done many private tours to know very special places such as jungle tour in deep in amazon, waterfalls which are unkwoun for tourist and is the biggest in Ecuador. Also, many canyons, caves (It is very adventurous) and ritual ceremony which is traditional and ancestral in Amazon.
These tours are really great but these are optional for you guys. Usually I go with private tours. These tours are not free but not so expensive.

4.trabajos mingas(Working Minga)
Minga is our traditional culture of working together. We works every Wednseday in a week. Just once in week.
Works are not so hard. Dont worry

5.trabajos comunitarios(Working in community)
We have some projects here to develop our conditions, such as making museum, planting trees, eliminating plants and so on..
While we works together, you can know more about nature and how we conserve our nature.

6.clase de ingles(Teaching English)
If you can speak english, It will be very helpful for us. We know spanish, Quichua and learning english to explain better for people. I know some but not enough yet. Also, we can teach spanish and quichua. You can just help us with a conversation!!!

WHAT YOU NEED TO FOLLOW IN OUR HOUSE

I will welcome all friends in the world. But there are some rules you need to keept in my house.

First, you cannot smoke in the house(Especially, it is prohibited to smoke Marihwana here) If you want to smoke cigarette, you can do it outside of my house. There is no one to smoke in my house.

Second, we are not allowed to accept Hippies who are dirty, so indepedent.

Third, It is also not allowed to drink a alchol in my house and to come back home after drinking until being druken.

These are the instuctions to stay in my house. It is easy to follow!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted many friends in the world before using couchsurfing. I have a lot of friends (haha, I can convincingly say that I am good and famous guide in Napo) from the world. I have some projects such as to build a new house, to make a museam and to explore more of Amazon.

I have some left rooms in my house so I want to share this rooms to you guys and to learn different culutures, to work togehter and to make unforgettable moment in our lives.
