ABOUT ME

I am a student of psychology, trying to make sense of human behavior here! I am an easy-going person; counting on a friend that considers me a "really approachable person." Listening and reflecting on it seems to be my preferred method in conversations, rather than talking.

PHILOSOPHY

We are thrown on the earth and "condemned to be free," as Sartre says. I don't really think humanbeings have a free will but we have a broad set of choices and about 80 years to make a meaning out of our lives.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very enthusiastic about being a couchsurfer in the near future. I can't wait to host the travelers in Istanbul. Until then, I am willing to help anyone who has questions or needs help to get to know the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't got the chance to host anybody yet. Apparently, no strangers are allowed in the dorms! But I always try to catch up with the meetings and as soon as I go back to travelling alone, I will need a roof over my head :)

Interessen

I am obviously interested in travelling and getting to know people from different backgrounds. Politics and history of those societies that I get exposed is a key element to understand individuals and their ideas about their ordinary days, so it is helpful to ask their take on it. Humor also interests me, especially cartoons. What gives me joy the most is music, though. I am always excited about being introduced to novelty.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like all kinds of art that reflect on real-life struggles and history. Music is the core of amusement to me, so I can always be in the mood for any kind of music; it just comes as a surprise! Listening to or singing it, as long as we can feel our ears' presence.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The coolest thing I've ever done was sandboarding at the desert in Peru. It was such a beautiful place that I still can't believe that I really did it!
The oasis there in Huacachina was just incredible.
