ABOUT ME

Officially, I'm an out-going college student major in Art & Technology dept in Sogang university, Seoul. I'm studying about convergence between art and science, but personally focusing on HCI, human-based UX/UI design.
In reality, I'm a explorer who is just simply vague and confused about her future, and still currently finding her life-time dream! I always call myself as a lifetime student and try to see others as life teachers and co-students.

PHILOSOPHY

Korean words '앎' and '삶' graphically shows my philosophy towards living my life. Learning앎 and Being sick앓다 look alike, and Living삶 and 사르다burning look similar. Just like that, I believe that for a good learning and good living, that much of pain and passion are needed.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My name Saebom means both 'New Spring' and 'Seeing new things' in Korean. I feel happy and lively when I experience new things and meet strangers. However, at the same time I know that patience and endurance are the greatest values as well. Grown up in the society that emphasize on community value, I'd rather choose to be responsible than adventurous.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None in the exact meaning of couchsurfing, but I've seen many acquaintances and relatives who host a lot of foreign people. They always tell me about their funny and amazing episodes, it thrills me and makes me feel natural for getting together with multi-cultural people.
Additionally, my family members are generous givers, always try to invite good people and make big dinners no matter what language the guests speak. I also had a wonderful American roommate in the dorm and it was surely great experience for me.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love classics, masterpieces that almost everybody would admit. Hermann Hesse, Somerset Maugham, George Orwell, Dostoyevsky... And still have a lot to go.
For movies, especially I adore Ang Lee, Michael Haneke, Stanley Kubrick, Rars von trier, Quentin Tarantino... But I also love Miyazaki Hayao's animations, Disneys', and Superheros!
For music, I like to listen R&B, soul, hiphop, and pop that have groove and rhythm, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Prince... my idols... but sometimes there's a time for jazz, classics, rock...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

- Complete Hiking the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range in 2 year (In middle school hiking club) and wrote a book about it
- Went to Nepal mountainside village for dental treatment volunteering. (I did suction)
- Wrote a short novel
- Ex-editor of the student magazine
- Hmmm.... What else....

Hmmmmm..... First, Korean. Second, Dance? I'm not sure because I've rarely danced without headphone. And if you come to my house, I can teach you how to play Gayageum(Korean Traditional instrument) which is too heavy to bring outside.
