ABOUT ME

Hi !

My name is Renee, I am from Montreal. I am ''québécoise''. So, I am a french Canadian. I am currently studying urban planning at Université du Québec à Montréal. I love to travel and have travelled a lot around the world. I love to see new places and meet people from different cultures. I have been to Morocco, in Senegal, in Mexico, in Costa Rica and several other places.

I do a lot of sports. I love to run, swim and most of all bike. I also love to surf. I think it's the best sport in the world.

I am very open minded and active.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone has something to give. That's why I love to travel around the world. Every time I travel, I feel that I change a little bit and I find it amazing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I am studying in France and could host some couch surfers. However, when I get back in Montreal I shall be able to host couch surfers. I am currently leaving in Lyon until the end of may. I shall return in quebec in july.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed with some of my friends. Also, I have spent time with couch surfers at some of my friends flats. Had a great time showing them around Montreal, witch is a lovely city!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have done, is an internship in Senegal. I spent 6 months over there in a host family and it changed my life. I lived in a tiny village and it was simply amazing. Also, I did an internship in mexico where I saved marine turtles. Both these experiences changed me and made me a better person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love politics and and I love to talk about politics. Quebec has a special situation and I think it is interesting to learn all about us! Also, I love architecture and urban planning so I love to analyze cities and social movements.
