About Me

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, especially because I'm obsessed with different languages and I would love to become a Polyglot. I think that the best way to open your mind on different people and other cultures is to learn their languages, the particularities of their languages, the things that you can't translate. For me it's one of the most astonishing thing on earth.

I also really love to cook and it appears that I'm not bad at it ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone should enjoy everyday the richness of life, how you can learn from every little thing, and how you can also teach others. Be the one who bring happiness in other's life and in your own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friends and my brother are the one who made me discover CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time, Elodie, a friend of mine, hosted a very nice guy from England, Sam, but she could'nt spend the evening with him, so I showed him some places in Paris that I love, then we went in bar with some friends of mine, it was really nice!

Interests

I always had a thing for History since I was a little kid, I read a loads of history books for children at that time (mostly on Louis XIV and world war II -I know it has nothing to do with it!-). Thanks to my studies, I can continue to learn more and more about it and also learn a loads on sociology and philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is Princess Mononoké (and of course every others Hayao Miyazaki's film). I also love all the Harry Potter movies (less than the books, but still) V for Vendetta and Empire Records. But i'm much more a TV-Shows Person ; for me the best is undoubtedly Oz ! But then again I can enjoy every kind of TV-Shows (The Wire, How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, LOST, Sons Of Anarchy, South Park, Sex And The City, Girls, Community, etc.)

As far as music is concerned, I can enjoy everything ; Johnny Cash (!!!), The Clash, David Bowie, Lou Reed, The Doors, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Bix Beiderbecke, Wu Tang Clan, House Of Pain, Public Ennemy, The Sound Providers, Jeff Mills (!!!) Len Faki, Acid Arab, Hilight Tribe, Georges Brassens (!!!), Jacques Brel, Léo Ferré, Charles Trennet, Serges Gainsbourg,

I'm really interested in French Literature in the 19th century, my two favorite writters of all times being Emile Zola and Honoré de Balzac. I also love Musset for his theater pieces and poems. I also really loved Really The Blues, a book from Mezz Mezzrow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent the New Year's Eve on a beach in Thailand, I made a "husky trip" (?) in the Montains in Canada, I bathed in an almost completely frozen lake in Sweden during winter after being in a sauna, I took a boat on a completely hiden lake in Vietnam.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you french, or a bit of german (also a bit of russians or vietnamese words). Maybe also to cook ? :)
You could teach me all the languages in the world, maybe how to sing and to dance (but it will be complicate I think), and actually everything you know!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

France
