ABOUT ME

I grew up in the San Juan Islands of Washington State but have been a world rambler since a very young age. I am adventurous, outgoing and pride myself in being able to get along with people from all types of backgrounds. I love to travel and test my comfort zones but I am also a very responsible and respectful person. I love to learn about wherever I find myself and share my own background. I am a writer and photographer and love to swap tales from the road.

My interests include writing, traveling and experiencing new places. I love speaking spanish and enjoy getting to know a place by thoroughly getting lost and then finding my way home. I also enjoy skateboarding, snowboarding and surfing and have found these activities have connected me with amazing people all over the planet. I don't mind having a lively, dynamic discussion about the state of the world and ultimately find that getting along with people from all walks of life is the greatest reward. I really enjoy learning, whether it is about a new culture, a factoid from history, a new place, a new language or about someones life philosophy. The more stimulated my mind the better I feel.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I work with youngsters from the U.S taking them on international service learning trips. This has allowed me to travel throughout SE Asia and South America while broadening the horizons of my participants, giving back to the communities that we visit and experiencing some incredible adventures.
