About Me
Hi! I'm an ex Art Student who recently dropped out of school to pursue my dream of traveling, meeting and helping people while learning from them
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meet people, exchange, talk, learn
Interests
Though I'm an absolute neophyte I am truly passionate about ecology, permaculture, degrowth and alternative ways of life. I have everything to learn, being a pure product of today's society (ex shopping addict, belongings gatherer and crap eater) but it makes the whole thing even more interesting.
If you have knowledge/experience in those fields I'd be really interested in hearing about it!
I'm also really interested in the idea of implanting 'positivity' in every aspect of my life, living it through this angle, trying to get the good thing out of every situation, state of mind etc, instead of being controlled by my moods.
I have a very big need for contact with nature and I prefer the country side to big cities. I love cycling (afraid of cars on the road though) but I like hiking even more, especially in very remote places.
I love camping/sleeping outside, pretty much anywhere as long as it's not too dangerous human wise (cities....).
I tend to enjoy 'calm' moments with small groups of people more than big parties and events, but I still really enjoy live music or festivals

Music, Movies, and Books
Can't really pick any real favorites but I was recently marked by 'Friday, or, The Other Island', the rewriting of Daniel Dafoe's Robinson Crusoe myth by the french writer Michel Tournier. This "version" really explores Crusoe's relationship to modernity, society, norms, religions and dogmas, constructing and deconstructing different states of human "organization", from complete control of the natural environment to complete 'wildness'.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking and sleeping the roads of Japan without speaking a word of japanese. Turns out not speaking the same language isn't that much of an issue in that situation
Countries I’ve Visited
Indonesia, Japan
Countries I’ve Lived In
France
