We are a couple from Iceland, 26 and 28 years old. We are both biologists. We love to travel and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have introduced foreign friends to interesting places in Iceland. We have also met awesome people from all around the world and would like to keep meeting more.

Interests

We both really enjoy being outdoors, we really like hiking, rock climbing and hunting/fishing.
We both have a passion for cooking and really enjoy trying out exotic foods.
We are both ICE-SAR (Icelandic search and rescue team) members.
We have traveled a lot in Iceland and experienced it in different ways. We have really enjoyed showing Icelandic nature to guests when they have visited Iceland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of years ago we went to see volcanic eruption ( actually quite near Eyfjallajokull, which probably started because of this eruption). The volcanic eruption was rather balanced so people were able to observe it. We did that on nearby peak but when we were on the top a new eruptive fissure formed.
