ABOUT ME

Hi there! I’m Anaid, I live in Mexico City and I’m currently working in the Embassy of Brazil, I do really love my job.

Most of the times I’m a happy person, but bad days are inevitable, aren’t they? I laugh a lot and I always try to see the positive side on everything. I consider myself easygoing and talkative; I love to know new people, hear their experiences.

I enjoy walk the cities, sometimes without and specific place to go, just get lost and appreciate what‘s around.

I think that travel is the best way to know you better. In every trip, near or far away from home, you discover new things about yourself; every place teaches you something. Traveling changes you, in a good way. That's why I love to know new places, and it’s even better if I have the opportunity to share the experience with my love ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Until now, I have no couchsurfing experience, but I hope to surf some european couches this summer (:

Interests

Dance is my passion. I used to do ballet, I have to quit it 4 years ago but I plan to go back. I hear music and my body stars to move. Obviously, I also love music.

I consider myself a very active person. I love doing exercise, any kind of workout, since lifting, kick boxing, swimming, running, dancing or yoga.

I love yoga and meditation.

Netflix and I have a very special relationship. I love watching series and movies, especially series!

I love to read, I do prefer novels, but I read every single book that cross in front of me.

Trying new food is something awesome for me. I love to eat and I really enjoy sweet food.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES, let's see: I do really love chick flicks, I know, it's cheesy and a cliché, but I love them, I can't help it, they make me happy. I also enjoy action and thriller movies, like every normal girl ;). I adore superheroes movies, a confession: I do prefer Marvel movies than DC movies.

MUSIC: Since I love to dance i also enjoy almost every kind of music, all of it has something to express, something to share, why not give it a try?

BOOKS: I love novels, cheesy ones ;) But I also read other kind of books. Currently, I'm into Game of Thrones books, I'm on the first one and I love it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Royal Palace in Luang Prabang, Laos, has a room all decorated with coloured mirror glass counting stories about Laos’history that take your breath away, it’s the most wonderful thing I've ever seen. You should visit Laos; Luang Prabang is so far my favorite city.
