Hello everybody,
I´m Marie, 28 years old and currently studying business chemistry in Düsseldorf (Germany).
I went to Japan for a semester abroad and continued traveling through Asia for another year.
Now back in Europe I miss meeting people from abroad and Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for that.

Besides my studies and hobbies (sport, cooking, eating a lot, surfing, dancing, searching for cozy cafes …) I really love exploring new things.
I am interested in challenging myself, enjoying a good time and getting inspired from other peoples mindset.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many :D and always looking for new ones.

When I was 18 , I moved to Ghana for a year to work there as a volunteer in a school. It was a funny and crazy time over there and every day felt like a new adventure (running away from elephants... dancing with my school kids... watching someone washed their clothes in a dirty sea next to a crocodile... eating way to much fufu... having malaria... living together with my host mum. she couldnt speak english and I couldt speak fante/twi...)
