About Me

Well there isn't so much to say, I'm a simple, independant young guy. I'm fond of a lot of things concerning arts in general. And I like to travel (well, obviously), especially in nothern countries. It's always a pleasure to meet new people with a bit of interesting discussion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first it was to be host in Iceland.. But since I don't plan anything when I travel, it's now just a way to meet foreign folks, hosting them home, or maybe just sharing a coffee or a talk.

Interests

Arts, mainly. Expressionist and Surrealist paintings which I try (so much..) to practice. Classical drawings too, for a long time now. Music, from jazz to hip-hop, indie to country. I play the bass, and a little bit of guitar over which I lay my horrible monstruous voice from time to time...
And of course, food, beer and wine to which I dedicate my youth.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, music, it's quite wide. From Wu Lyf and Unknown Mortal Orchestra indie stuff to old jazz and blues pieces from Baker or Evans. And Tallest Man On Earth's folk songs.
I'm not really what you could define as a movie addict, I've seen a few and can't really make a decision about that... I really like Del Toro or the Cohen brothers.
And, books... Poe's poetry and short stories. Benacquista's ones.Jack London's "Peste Ecarlate" and some weirdo stories like Kafka, Breton or Celine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took the plane for the first time in my life, alone, to travel Iceland with my backpack. A lot of memories and a great exprience, start of a new open-minded and dreamed life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could easily share my passion for Architecture, for french litterature... I could also share some of my drawing/music playing skills!
And I want to learn everything I can, it's simple.
