My name is Jennifer, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Amsterdam. I really love travelling! I've travelled by myself in Nepal and Indonesia. And I've visited some other countries with my familliy. Right now I'm studying in Canada for a semester and I live on campus, so I can't accept any guests.

I guess I would describe myself as happy, always jumping around, kinda crazy, trying to do lots of things and make the most out of every day! I also really enjoy conversations about mostly travelling, science (I'm kind of nerdy), philosophy, or other topics.

I've changed so much while I was travelling by myself, it means the world to me. the memories you make, the places you see, the people you meet, and also getting to know yourself in a different way. I feel like travelling gave me a lot of confidence, because things never went according to plan but I was able to fix it, let go of my plans and be okay with things the way they happened. Back at home I was someone to easily rely on help from my friends and family, but being away from all that was when I really got to know myself :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have heard lots of great stories from friends of mine who went couchsurfing and stayed with the most amazing people, and I just hope I can get a similar experience. It seems so much more interesting than just booking a hotel or airbnb.
When I'm back in Holland I plan on being a host in Amsterdam :)

Books: Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, books by John Green, and lots of fantasy books.
