Sempre que planejo uma viagem, Couchsurfing tende a ser minha primeira ideia, não só pela economia, mas pelas boas experiências e pelas pessoas acolhedoras que tive o prazer de conhecer.

Hello, I'm a Brazilian electrical engineer recently graduated, doing my Masters at Queens University, located in Kingston, Ontario. I'm from João Pessoa, Paraíba, a city in the northeast of Brazil. I also lived in Toronto, Canada for a year as an exchange student from 2013 to 2014 and in Finland throughout 5 months back in 2016. I'm always willing to meet new people. When planning a trip, Couchsurfing is always my first option, not only for financial reasons but for the experiences I've already have with it and the great people I've met.

Minha primeira experiência com o Couchsurfing foi participando de um evento organizado na rede. Encontrei um grupo de pessoas planejando um acampamento de quatro dias, onde não haveria eletricidade, internet ou telefone, umas das melhores experiências ao ar livre que já tive!vDepois disso, utilizei a rede para seu uso mais comum, estadia. Infelizmente, nunca pude abrir minha casa para hóspedes, devido às pessoas com quem moro. Espero um dia poder mudar isso!

My first experience on Couchsurfing was my participation in events organized by this network. After that, I did some surfing at Canada while living here in 2013-2014 and in Iceland and Sweden while travelling there with my girlfriend in 2016.

I'd say music is something that actually fills a great amount of my time, whenever possible I'm listening to it or trying to know something new. I also enjoy movies and TV Shows, and I try to be always with some book to read, although I get lazy very often.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first thing I can think about is the time I went camping for 4 days with no electricity, phone or internet and almost got lost among some beaver dams when canoeing down the river, it was really dark! It might be casual stuff for some, but it was an amazing experience for me :)
