Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Many of my friends have told me about the amazing experiences they had when they tried CS, and so I'd like to step out of my comfort zone and give this a try too.

Interests

Films & music. I also love to watch recipes online because they feel strangely therapeutic and satisfying; although making them is another story... I enjoy listening to recounts and anecdotes on humble beginnings, struggles, little stories of overcoming something tough and challenging. Stories of little victory taken in small, baby steps. Generally I'm almost quite ready to be engaged in meaningful conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Oasis, Bruce Springsteen, Ennio Morricone, Jóhann Jóhannsson, a variety of film scores, Rod Stewart, Queen, Lana Del Rey, Jay Chou and some Cantonese oldies, heh.

Movies: Cinema Paradiso, Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight, Lord of the Rings, WALL-E. I'm a sucker for Disney x Pixar productions.

TV: Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, The Office, Modern Family

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on an exchange in Copenhagen and having the opportunity to travel around and live by myself for about 6 months. Loved it! I suppose this could be an amazing grand gesture I was blessed with, but I try to find the "wow factor" in daily small routine stuff as well.
