ABOUT ME

French-Canadian from Montreal living in Amsterdam. Open-minded, passionate about other cultures, also always willing to meet new people and learn from them. I am having an affair with Amsterdam ;), and to share my love for this beautiful 'big village' has become a true hobby. Arts, especially photography inspire me, and nothing makes me happier than enjoying tasty creative food with wonderful people. I live to discover new ways of thinking and doing. Nothing makes me feel more alive than being lost in a crazy chaotic city, confronted to a culture that is not mine. Although I have traveled to more than 40 countries and that I see myself living abroad for a while (forever?), I am extremely proud of where I come from!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, hosting is quite difficult for me at the moment, but I am willing to meet and show you what makes this city so special and teach you a bit (a lot!) about Dutch culture. We can go to the museum, we can go for a run along the Amstel river, or we might even end up dancing all night long ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couch surfing, I have had only a couple of surfing experiences, but they all turned out to be enriching.

Creative food & tasty wine, music festivals, various kinds of art especially photography, going to the theater, visiting museums, diving and anything related to the sea, running/marathons, learning about new cultures. Play piano for me, and I will be your biggest fan :-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sleeping with a family, next to cows, in a small village on top of a mountain in Laos. Moving to Amsterdam spontaneously and living the expat life i.e. adapting to another culture. Sharing a meal with families in Indonesia, Thailand, Israel, and many other places. I have been in various priceless situations while traveling that involved good food or music and I believe they bring people together. I think we could resolve great conflicts by putting rivals around a table full of yummy food....
