About Me

I'm a young management student driven by innovation and creativity in both business and art.
I take a gap year between my bachelor and my master's degree to explore new horizons. I started learning some code, I took mooc on modern art and photography by MoMA, also on IoT and digital innovation.. I take photographs and put some on my IG (check rodriguevrn), it's just a start and I'm willing to improve my techniques.
I'm really curious and openminded. Routine is what drains me the most, so please let me discover your reality!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have free time and I want to use in a good way. I plan a trip in california from mid january 2017 and mid april. It is time for me to join the community and hangs out to share my passions and discover others. In Belgium, I can't host traveler because I'm still at my parents (for obvious financial reasons) but I'm willing to show you my city, the way I experience it.

Music, Movies, and Books

For the moment I really like to listen to Hungry Music, it's a french band of electro dj, really chill and has its own identity.
My favorite movie is a belgian one: "C'est arrivé près de chez vous", it's dark, absurd and cynic. For something more international, I loved "Whiplash" and "Grand Budapest Hotel"!
Book wise, I mostly read in french, but I started the Fuck Up and it's hilarious, I recommend it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I was traveling in the north of england and Scotland with a friend. It was amazing, even if summer means rains and fog there!
When I got to the airport to take my flight back home, I was one day late. Ugh!
It was a friday and monday morning I was supposed to fly to greece.

The ticket Newcastle - Brussels was 600 pounds while I paid the round trip 120 euros. So I decided to check the bus station. I ran downtown. Every bus where full to london or to Brussels for the entire weekend. I ran to the train station. No data, nor wifi I call a friend in Belgium so he checks online. I decide to jump in the last train to london to catch the last train to brussels. There was a gap of 10 min to do the shift in London. Obviously, I ran. I made it, and finally got home earlier than scheduled ahaha
It costs me a lot tho, but it is a good memory of my travels.
