Anything outdoors from oceans to mountains, I love it. I'm also a lover of music and tend to follow it where it goes. I read a lot, and like to spend time napping in the hammock when I am not working. (Work tends to be a waitress job that provides me with my travel money.) I love to take all opportunities and really enjoy life day by day,

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a lover of the funk, first and foremost. I absolutely love live music of any kind and I am never one to turn down a show. I believe local music (local to any area) is very important to the future! I will always want to know about the music scene in any area I am visiting. Movies, I also love, but have had a hard time finding the time and means to enjoy them recently. I haven't owned a television in so long that the idea is quite foreign at this point!
I also read like crazy, these days I'm circling around Kerouac, Thoreau and Steinbeck. In the spirit of adventure, obviously. But my taste changes weekly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 3 months in Ecuador working at a bar, traveling and teaching spanish when I was 17. One of the most amazing and educational experiences of my life, but also one that taught me what NOT to do. Along with 2 months in Peru and a month in Costa Rica.

I'm not sure what all I can teach, I'd love to learn anything you're willing to teach me, and I will share anything and everything I have. Always.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will always be more than willing to share anything I have with hosts, in addition, I l love to make dinner for my hosts, in exchange for local knowledge and kindness! I am a very easy person to have around, and I will always respect anything the hosts asks of me in return for my stay.
