ABOUT ME

AIESEC is an international not-for-profit organization that provides students with leadership training and internship opportunities. We provide a platform for students in different universities and colleges, by going on an international internship and/or by joining various local chapters.
Each year members have an opportunity to live and work in a foreign country. Participants can choose to work in areas of management, technology, education or development; helping to build one’s corporate skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every year Local Committee in Poznań enables a lot of students from all over the world to come to Poznań and have an impact on the local community. Internship students are volunteers who teach in schools, kindergartens ect. or run workshops for students. Our task is to find for them accommodation for this period and to show them Polish culture and hospitality. Thanks to CS we can make this happened :)
One of the projects of AIESEC is GLOBAL HOST which has the same postulates as CS. That is why we introduce it to CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, thanks to kindness of some couch surfers a few of our volunteers had incredible time in Poland gaining unforgettable memories and making new friends.

Interests

We would like to create positive image of Poland and let internship students know Polish traditions, culture and people. In general, the ideas of CS correspond to the ideas of AIESEC. It is all about sharing, opening for new horizons and breaking the ice and cultural barriers.

Music, Movies, and Books

AIESEC has over 90,000 members. Imagine how many books, movies and kind of music we enjoy ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Volunteers come to Poland to teach about their culture, their language, their skills (e.g. IT or leadership skills). All of them are qualified and they took the brave decision to cross plenty of kilometers to share their knowledge in a foreign country. So we can assure you- they can teach a lot, and they are ready to learn, too.
