ABOUT ME

I am from Vancouver (Coast Salish Territories), Canada and was born and raised here, but spent most of my 20s in Quebec and Latin America, particularly Mexico and Cuba. I try to contribute to a more fair and environmentally conscious society while being as open as I can to various perspectives. I love connecting with people though, music, dance, games and meaningful conversations.

PHILOSOPHY

Guiding principles are generosity, gratitude, authenticity, kindness, openness, think critically, context is everything, develop self-awareness and awareness of how my actions have an impact on others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have hosted and been hosted and all experiences have been great! Currently looking for possible hosts in Mexico City April 25th - May 15th. I hope to host again in 2016 (or possibly earlier) when my housing situation shifts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My ex and I hosted about 10 people over a few years back. It was a really positive experience overall. I love the generosity element of couchsurfers.

Interests

I love singing, dancing, justice, meditation (well don't always love it, but try to do it), playing sports, playing guitar, and talking about things that matter to people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Latin Dance (particularly Cuban Style salsa), Facilitation skills and games, English/French/Spanish, basic guitar, basic meditation practices. Right now, I want to learn high level french...particularly writing.
