Couchsurfing is a superb idea! A great way to travel, explore new places and meet new people. Also a great way to hang out with people who have similar interests :)

I love the Beatles, John Lennon, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Janis Joplin, Guano Apes, Parov Stelar, Metalica, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Evanescence (and probably many more which I forget...)
I also like polish music and of course CLASSICAL music.

I like The Lord of the Rings (it made my childhood), Star Wars, die Welle, Requiem for Dream, A Clockwork Orange, into the Wild, Adam's Apples, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nes, Gladiator, Intouchables and Monty Python!
