My name is Theresa, my friends in South Africa also know me as Palesa. I am 25 years old and the older sister of 2 sisters and one brother with whom I grew up in the Southwest of Germany:
Palatinate, with its wine, friendly people and sunny climate the most beautiful part of Germany :-)
I love playing basketball, watching football, meeting friends, sun and a good glass of wine. I stayed for a voluntary service for one year in South Africa/ North West province. That year awoke my interest in other countries and cultures- and my love to travel around!;-)
India, Bolivia, Uganda,... I started traveling and just cannot stop loving it!
I studied social work in a small village in Bavaria. My studies emphasized my interest in politics and global coherence. I engaged myself in the students representation as well as in several student initiatives. My professional main interest is the work with refugees. Currently I do an internship at HIAS in Kampala,Uganda that support the urban refugees.

I like enjoying all the small beautiful moments in life, so its difficult to pick one as "that amazing thing"..:-) but as I really love travelling my journey through India as well as the road trip from Uganda to South Africa are definitely counted in.
