CURRENT MISSION

I took a break after my studies to spend 2 months in New Zealand's nature, hiking, camping and hitchhiking!

Now I am continuing to explore Scandinavia's wonderful nature.

A more long term mission is to explore progressively Eastern Europe, going towards Caucasus and Central Asia a bit more every year. I take my time to really learn about the history and the geopolitics of the areas I visit :) so far I've been to the Balkan and Armenia. I'd also love to visit Iran.

ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old working as a laser scientist. I'm a nature and sport lover.
I don't want to travel only taking pictures of pretty monuments, I think that if you want to discover a country and a culture you have to talk to people and taste local food ! Food is a big part of my life and one of my main motivations for travelling. And I'm always ready for a beer :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf a lot of couches while travelling around Europe, and I'm regularly hosting people in Lund.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I experienced it during my trip from France to Denmark, in Netherlands and Germany, and during my Balkans' trip in Sarajevo, Tirana and Budapest. Only met very nice people :) Also in Finland during my Baltic trip, in Armenia and in New Zealand.
I also hosted many people in Sweden.

Interests

I enjoy a lot of music, I could talk about it during hours ! Especially rock&roll, progressive rock and jazz, but I'm very open I listen also to metal, hip-hop, electro, fusion...
Reading is also a big part of my life. I love Science-Fiction like Asimov, Dan Simmons, Damasio, Clark, Banks... I also enjoy fantasy.
I practice a lot of different sports (badminton, powerlifting, football, squash, rugby, skateboard, ping-pong...) and I love outdoors (hiking, mountain bike).
