ABOUT ME

I'm a regular Czech language teacher. I teach Czech to foreigners and English to Czech kids. It is a fairly fulfilling job and I think I will stick to it for the following few years. And then we will see!

My passion is singing - choir singing that is. I have been an active bass singer for ten good years.

Mostly I am interested in meeting new people. You never know who you're going to meet next! At the same time I don't always feel comfortable around too many new people but it is time to expand my comfort zone - my curiosity is bigger anyway!

PHILOSOPHY

It is never late to do what you've always dreamt of.
I decided to go for it.
Also, bad people are everywhere. Don't be sad if someone is mean to you. There are a lot of other people who appreciate you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I've just started! Let's see where this brings us. Currently I am creating my new home on my own... So I am not sure if my flat has already been furnished enough by the time you read this. But try and you'll see.

兴趣

I fancy choir singing (Czech Academic Choir, the choir of Masaryk University in Brno and Technical UNI of Ostrava) and theatre - I was a member of different drama clubs since 2007. But I don't act anymore.
I also like learning new languages. I speak English... also French quite fluently (however I haven't used it for a long time) and I also learn other insignificant languages from time to time.

Music! I love music. I am a choir singer, so I love many compositions from this area. Notably Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen, Kim André Arnesen, Daniel Elder and many more. I also like experimental music, such as IAMX or Sigur Rós. Plus, I also fancy small, almost forgotten bands like Fair to Midland.

I sang with Sabaton in front of TENS OF THOUSANDS of people. I have never felt more blessed in my life.
