Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet officially, but have slept on many couches throughout my life, and my own couch has welcomed many friends that I met during my travels!

Interests

too many things to make a list... but basically for now: discover a new place, new athmosphere, new people, new sources of inspiration!...

Music, Movies, and Books

Books; Siddharta, Ishmael, the Alchemist and other Coelho's books, la route des Andes and other inspirational books of that kind... Also 1984 (scaryyy how realistic it has become), Animal farm... For fun, Douglas Kennedy's books keep me awake late at night. I love many Arabic Authors (Mohamed Choukri, Yasmina Khadra, Aziz Chouaki, Tahar Ben Jelloun...). And basically I like discovering new authors that make me feel time has stopped when I open their books!

Music: Cumbia for dancing, classic rock (Beatles, Doors, Pink Floyd), french rock groups (La Rue Ketanou, Louise Attaque, Noir désir) and french classics (Edith piaf, Jacques Brel) for singing, Reggae and various kinds of World music for chilling... Can also enjoy silence!

Movies: Kusterica's movies - Favorites: Underground, Arizona dream; Burton's movies - favorite : Big fish. Ashgar Farhadi's movies... Will enjoy stupid romance movies when feeling down... I used to be hooked up on Walt Disneys when younger but I think it got my mind twisted in too many ways so i have been cutting down on that :-) Don't like blood and war blockbuster moovies.
