ABOUT ME

I live in Colegiales, one of the nicest areas in town; one block from a subway (Olleros Station), near the main attractions, a few blocks from Palermo- . My apartment its old and warm, and spacious enough...
There´s a couch in the living room area, and a single mattress if do you like. (No need for blankets or towels ofcourse!)
I live with my husband Poli and two cats (they are friendly and cute).
I prefer dont smoking inside, but there´s one little balconies, so everyone can be comfortable.
I usually spend much time at home, where I study and work too.
My husband usually don´t spend much time during the week, (he works as a systems analyst and programmer).
We used to have people at home; usually not couchsurfers, but just because we are new in couchsurfing, but we received my sister´s couchsurfers for dinner! And we received friends from around Buenos Aires. Some weekends we left Buenos Aires and travel around (If its happens the place is not available).
I love painting and Poli usually practice guitar and violin.
I can provide you a bike and I can accompany and advise you about attractions, cultural places, etc…
We will happy to host you, help you out and be your argentinian friend...

Interests

I love plastic arts, music, literature and Philosophy. I love painting, enjoy music, practice yoga.
My husband Poli loves music as much as I or more (he practice guitar, violin and ukulele).
We enjoy films, bike rides, picnics, readings on the beach, nature, and learn about culture, history and arts.

Music, Movies, and Books

About movies, ours favorite directors are: Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton, Charles Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Pedro Almodovar, Zhang Yimou, Kim Ki-DuK, Park Chan-wook.
About literature, I love poetry and literature of the nineteenth and twenty century (George Sand, Fedor Dostoievski, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Roberto Arlt, Julio Cortazar, Leonardo Padura) and Poli preferred science fiction and humor (Bradbury, Terry Pratchet, Tom Sharpe, Christopher Moore, Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft…). We enjoy detectives novels too (such us Henning Mankell, Raymond Chandler, Guillermo Martinez…)
About music… ¿what´s life without music? We really enjoy punk music, hardcord, rock and roll, but we are so open and we enjoyed very different music styles, such us tango, blues, rockabilly, reagge, Argentinean folk… everything that express a culture.
