Ethnology PhD. student, loving music, theatre, arts and culture as a whole. I think, at this place, love for travelling and meeting new people doesn't need any mentioning. After all it's Couchsurfing!
Fell in love with Ireland, Greece, Norway, Italy, ... Well, to be fair, with almost with any country I've been to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a host and I have been a guest and I always enjoyed the experience. But so far I would call myself a couchsurfing rookie :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Never know where to begin, never know when to stop.

Anything from good old-school classic (Chuck Berry, Billie Holiday), cross the rock masters (Led Zepelin, Pink Floyd), to current stars (Edward Sharpe&The Magnetic Zeros, Coldplay) to much less mainstream music and super-weird Czech bands :)

Other examples: The Frames, Kings of Convenience, Paper Kites, Morphine, Chet Faker, R.L. Bursnide, Devendra Banhart, Robert Plant, The Velvet Underground, Eels, Jose Gonzalez, Yann Tiersen,
Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Norah Jones, Nick Cave ... Oh, the times when I was able to choose and not get lost in the great chaos of good music... forever lost. :-)

Don't get me started on the books. Favorite authors: Neil Gaiman, Charles Bukowski, Richard Brautigan, Andrzej Sapkowski, J. D. Salinger, .... From the Czech ones: Definitely Václav Hrabě.

Movies: Who's That Knocking on My Door, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Intouchables, Lord of the Rings, Grand Budapest Hotel, The Hunt, Big Lebowski, Burn After Reading, Tideland, Lost in Translation...
