Hi, my name is Hannes. I grew up in this beautiful country in the most southern part of Africa – South Africa. As a twelve year old kid, my parents took me on a 7 day tour through Europe with them. That is when the travel bug bit me…I started studying Finances back in 2011 in order to have a job that will open doors for me worldwide. In 2017, I accepted a job and moved to Sydney, Australia. I have been here now almost a year, and what an adventure it has been!

I want to see as much of the world and meet as many people as possible. I am an easy going, fun guy who gets along with anyone. I am positive at all times and through any situation life throws at me and I see myself as a young, ambitious man who will fight to reach all my goals and dreams in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am passionate about travelling, meeting new people and most of all make an adventure of my trip while am at it! I just finished my studies and I started to work this year, so finally I have time and the money to make my dreams come true. I need to be around people all the time, so travelling alone is a no-go for me. I am an easy going, fun guy who gets along with anyone, so if you are willing to be part of my adventure, please be so kind and offer me a place to sleep :) I am also willing to host anyone if you are deciding to come to South Africa and be your personal tour guide on your trip.
