Just a jolly young law student, I generally coast through life with little cares and a happy face, except when it concerns matters of true importance, such as the fate of the Dutch football team. I live for the intellectual and creative spark.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The three dude's I live with have hosted quite a bunch of couchsurfers before, so that's how I got my start. I've since traveled Israel/Palestine using the website and that really made for an amazing trip, so I'd love to do my share hosting.

Intereses

I LOVE football. The reason is a mystery to me; I possess no great talent and the exploits of my favorite teams drain me emotionally. Everyone has a cross to bear, I guess. Aside from this I'm very interested in politics. I'll read politicians biographies for fun, true geek level. Finally, I very much enjoy art. I can draw you a portrait if you want!

Música, películas y libros

My favourite book, hands down, is Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh. It encompasses everything life is about for me: Art, love, melancholy and speech. I'm also into P.G. Wodehouse and a couple of Dutch writers, Arnon Grunberg probably being the best known out of them. As for music, all of this refinement is out of the window. It's all about Biggie, Dr.Dre and Lil Wayne of The Carter I and II. I love raw and real stuff in other genres too: Johnny Cash chief among them.
