ABOUT ME

I've travelled a lot; i've been to over 35 different countries. I just came back from living and working abroad for the past 10 years. I spent the last 4 years in Afghanistan working with the UN. In July I was offered another assignment with the UN here in NYC so i'm slowly getting to know the city better and enjoying what it has to offer.

I've couch surfed twice in Israel and once in Canada and I had a positive experience each time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Same as everyone :) Meet people and learn more about the countries I visit. I like how it's less touristy using this approach and it gives you a different perspective on local people and culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to visit the local prison in Afghanistan and teach Afghani prisoners English.
