ABOUT ME

How would I describe Tom? Nice, I know that he hates being called nice but it's true. He has all those qualities people like in a person, funny, intelligent, kind, thoughtful, utterly annoying and a pain in the bum but nice, wholesome kind of chap. Very handsome too but maybe I'm a little biased. He loves beer, boobs, football, pierogi and doing anything that means he can be outdoors.

Jess is a curly haired, dress enthusiast with an IRKSOME talent for word games. She also seems to mistake 'all about you' boxes for love letters. She's an incredible cook, so you should all totally let us into your homes.. In all honesty, Jess is probably the most considerate and thoughtful person I've ever met, whilst simultaneously forward and honest, and I think there's a lot to be said for that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're just travelling for now but may be able to host at some point in not so distant future. But we really enjoy couchsurfing meetings and plan to go to as many as we can.

Interests

GAME OF THRONES. Film, TV, reading, geeky board game/card games, music, going for long (painfully so) walks. And of course, it's difficult not to like lie ins, and tea.

Jess likes science, especially the kind that requires you to go outside and look at lots of interesting stuff, except when it takes you to a freezing cold beach, in Wales, on a January morning, in the rain. She also loves animals, cooking, anything vintage or antique; especially the cars and dresses and also enjoys writting, when the inspiration strikes. Jess is never happier than when she's in a museum.

Tom likes stars, cycling, politics and being outside. Thunderstorms, studying maps, languages and of course, making lists, only to completely forget about them and rediscover them months or years later with a nostalgic and apparently crooked smile.

Music, Movies, and Books

Laeeez an gendelmun, fantastic moosic from the wondafoo, ARCADE FIREEEEEEEEEE. At the moment also loving Sisyphus, Nico Jaar, and Lars von Trier. Love a bit of James Blake and Daniel Day-Lewis too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Define amazing. Yeah I'm a pedant, sorry. What I consider amazing depends often upon my state of mind, maybe I just haven't seen anything completely 'amazing' yet. I love heights. (Tom)
