ABOUT ME

I've worked for peace, justice, and environmental issues most of my life, both for pay, and for free. I've also studied many aspects of healing arts: massage, energy work, herbalism, homeopathy, nutrition, raw and natural foods for healing and prevention, kundalini yoga, chanting, and singing and performance for healing. I am an avid gardener, and have had over 70 different types of herbs and pollinator-friendly flowers in my small yard. I also write poetry, prose, and excellent blurbs. I love nature and the outdoors, except for mosquitos. I believe chocolate is a food group, but am saddened it is not grown locally, nor do we have good local tea...I was in a comedy improv group back when I used to be funny. I was a founding member of Dancing Flowers for Peace, troupe of women using dance for creating beauty, humor, and peace, to help inspire peace and justice in the world. Spiritually I have been involved with Quakers, Sufis, an the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends.
