ABOUT ME

Calm and friendly. Little bit shy at first. In scouting since I was 6 and still quite passionate about it (in Belgium, scouting is not at all as nerdy as it is regarded as in some other countries, just saying). I like to go out for a drink, for a movie or to a music festival, but I equally like staying at home watching tv or gaming (console as well as board or card games). When travelling I like to visit cultural sites like musea or historical places and I love just walking through a neighborhood, exploring and watching houses and buildings and parks... I prefer city trips above adventure or hiking trips.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Everyone is different, has his own tastes, opinions, wishes etc. That's beautiful and valuable. I may not always agree or like the same things, but as long as someone doesn't hurt people or treat them badly, we can coexist :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Usually I just go with the flow. When I'm traveling I like to explore the places I visit with local people, meeting new friends and learning about daily life. At the moment it's not possible for me to host due to circumstances, but I would like to meet couch surfers when they're visiting Brussels. So feel free to contact me and I'll see if I'm available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted 2 very nice travellers and stayed with 2 great hosts in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Centres d'intérêt

Lots of things: music, movies, gastromnomy, history, theater, art,... I'm no expert at anything, but I like to discover and learn new things. I used to read a lot when I was a child and teenager, but now I don't seem to be able to make time for that, there's so many other fun things to do...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

No chick flicks! Or comedy's that are only trying to be funny (does that make sense?) I prefer something with a bit of content, good story and the occasional ass kicking :-)
Eclectic music taste, going from my teenage rock chick punk and grunge fase over some relaxed reggae, hip hop and funk tunes to drumm'n base and some dance beats...
