I love people. As people come from different backgrounds and cultures I love learning about these, to understand both more about the world but also about myself. Spending time with my loved ones and just chatting over a glass of wine, or making new friends in all sorts of interesting situations.

I like a variety of stuff, but as I'm learning languages at the moment I like to find music and artists that sings in the language I'm learning. So if anyone has any good suggestions of music in Brazilian Portuguese just let me know :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Basically quit everything back home to explore the world. I finished my degree in management and finance 2014 and instead of going straight to work I sold my apartment and went to Spain to learn Spanish. After 6 months I felt it was time to move on so I went to Sweden for a couple of weeks to change the suitcase for a backpack and then took off to Central and South America where I spent 14 months traveling, working and volunteering.

After having visited almost 50 countries and spent over a year and a half traveling after finishing uni I have learned to have a much more open mind about people, especially people from other cultures. I have so much in common with friends from Colombia, Argentina, Kenya and many other places, and all of a sudden someone does something ridiculous in my eyes - and completely normal in theirs. Those are some of my favorite things, when either I get shocked or when I shock someone about the Swedish culture.

I'd love to learn about your culture - customs, food, traditions or anything that might be peculiar or fun!
