ABOUT ME

I have to confess that I have two personalities ;) The first one is good student, very responsible and hardworking, almost workaholic. And then there is the second one who was woken up by the travelling and she is spontaneous, loves adrenaline and adventure, is suddenly keen on volunteering and she is getting rid of her shyness by chatting about stuff with people she just met in the bus. The more I travel, the more people I met – the stronger is the second part of me and I hope that couch surfing will help me to support this amazing change of values which is happening to me thanks to travelling ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope I will soon be able to host as well but for now I can always at least help you find the best way, tell you where to find some interesting sights or show you around, if you come to my town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted just once, but it was more of a tentsurfing than couchsurfing, so basically I have no real couchsurfing experience, but hopefully this summer will change it! ;)

Interessen

Human Rights, Justice, Human creativity, Writing, Travelling, …

Sports - I love team games like basketball, volyball, handball etc, but it is harder and harder to gather more people at one time and one place :( However I have a few sportbuddies - Together we go running, rollerblading, we also sometimes go bouldering, swimming or to have a nice Lazer fights.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books: I don't really have favourite authors - except for Dan Brown - but there are many books I could read over and over, for instance Flowers for Algernon, Child 44, Of Mice and Men, Kidnapped,Death Is My Trade, A Captain at Fifteen, Broken Arrow, 1984 and many many more.

Movies: I like movies based on real events or real personal stories, such as Schindler's list, Hotel Rwanda, The Pianist e.c. I also like comedies, but I like the older ones more, because humor there is not that spoilt, and– even though I am adult - the childish part of me loves Despicable me :)

Series, documentaries: I can still laugh whenever I see one of the episodes of Friends, but I like other shows like The Newsroom, The Big Bang Theory,.. etc. as well. When I don’t have enough money (almost always) I travel via TV with Simon Reeve and his travel series. Generally I like documentaries about the world, nature and modern history.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I flew the small monoplane for a while and it was such and amazing feeling to be able to steer my way through the space.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can tell you something about the Czech Republic, its history, culture and if you are brave enough I can even teach you some Czech words ;) Apart from that I can show you how to make a never-ending card – great homemade gift for your friends.

I would like to learn about your country in exchange and I also like to listen to the things you have experienced during your travelling.
