ABOUT ME

I'm a very open minded girl who loves to travel. After I graduated from school here in Germany I just had to leave the country to see something new. So I went to live in Northern Virginia for one year and work as an Aupair. My mission was not to hang out with only German Aupairs during that year (somehow that's what a lot of girls from my country do) but to get to know ppl from other countries. That's what I did and I made friends for life! My friends were from South Africa, Sweden and the Netherlands. I learned so much from each of them!
I love to speak english and I am really interested in this language and the culture of the different countries where this language is spoken. That's why I'm studying English language literature and culture since October in Germany. I just can't get away from this anymore after my year abroad.

But I also like to work with kids. It's amazing how much they can give you back. I'm an educated preschool teacher here in Germany, as I really didn't know what I wanted to do after the year as an Aupair. This seemed like a good job but I just realised I really missed working with language and also my interest for culture and literature couldn't be satisfied with that.

So now I'm here on the edge to a new chapter in life, just started studying, doing hopefully what I really want finally. But I know it'll always draw me somewhere new, somewhere away from Germany, as beautiful as this country can be, there's just so much more to see.
Overall I'm pretty easy going and I really like to talk :D But also like to hear stories and just listen to peoples interesting experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A newbie so far, can't wait to have my first experiences!

As I just moved out from my big families house, where I could easily host a few ppl, to a tiny appartement I share with a roomate I unfortunately can't host right now. But I hope this will change again in the future so I can welcome ppl from all over the world.

Interesses

Magic that happens on any stage of this world, theater, concerts, poetry slam, any stage really where people play, sing, dance and just pour their heart out for everyone else. Books which force me to read until I can't hold my eyes open any longer at nights. Roadtrips with good friends. Listening to music...
