About Me

PHILOSOPHY

Too difficult question for a philosophy student :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just joined, but soon I hope I'll have a lot to write in here :)

Interests

Mostly I'm interested in all kinds of culture and people :) also in authentic/historical folklore stuff (songs, food, clothes). I love nature, forests, streams, rivers, hills and mountains, meadows, fires, lakes and music everywhere in the nature. Furthermore I'm also very interested in urban explorations, old towns, night cities, old factories, and enormous amounts of stories about everything :))

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Well... mostly I like old-school rock, you know, The Doors and so on, also I so much love folklore music, for example DakhaBrakha. Also I started to listen to some electronic music, that's new for me, but interesting :)
Movies: Stranger Than Paradise, by Jim Jarmusch, The Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson, I really like films directed by Andrei Tarkovsky, some of Ingmar Bergman collection for instance The Seventh Seal. Some surreal stuff like The Nine Lives of Tomas Katz, or The Color of Pomegranates and lots of other movies that I can't remember right now :))
Books: Barrabas by Pär Lagerkvist is my favourite book. It is easier to think about writers I like, and they are (tadadadam tadam!) Samuel Beckett, Erich Maria Remarque, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Julio Cortazar, Franz Kafka, Daniil Kharms (or Charms, he was used to change his nick names), Albert Camus, George Orwell, and some unknown lithuanian writers :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My adventures are upcoming soon :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some traditional handcrafts like ribbon weaving (at least I suppose this is called like this), also wristlet knitting. And I can teach some lithuanian folk songs. :)
