ABOUT ME

Hi! This is Lucia and Horacio from Uruguay, and we love to travel! We are currently doing a missionary training course in Llanelli, Wales, and we'd love to see as much of Europe as we can, but we don't really have that much money... We speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and some French. We love meeting new people and helping out wherever we can.

PHILOSOPHY

We are Christians. We believe in Jesus as the son of God and savior. We don't have all the answers, and things don't always turn out right, but we have enough peace in our hearts to be happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to visit small towns as much as big cities. It's about quality, not quantity. To build relationships with locals would make this trip unbelievable.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

French movies, with Romain Duris and Audrey Tatoo. We've found that in all French movies we watch, there is always an actor that was in a previous movie, funny, huh?

Our music tastes are opposite: Horacio likes everything from metal to alternative rock, while I'm more of a TOP 40/Indie girl. My favorite singer songwriter at the moment is Ed Sheeran.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Travelling has been one of the biggest joys of my life. Some of the landscapes I've seen like, the US Virgin Islands, have struck me.

Sometimes small things matter way more, though. I used to lead a small girls group at church. I always thought they hated it because they seemed so bored! But then when it was over they were sad we weren't doing it again, and one of them told me she really appreciated me for being there for her. That felt AMAZING.

Lucia: I love to cook and bake, maybe I could teach you to make a traditional Uruguayan dish?
Horacio: I play guitar and I will be carrying my ukelele, maybe I can teach you a couple tunes?
