ABOUT ME

I'm 22 years old and I'm from Colombia. I'm about to get my undergraduate degree on environmental engineering and I want to improve my english language skills. I'll be participating in the climates international summit in new york, about climate change, this august. It's gonna be my first time in USA and i hope to make the most.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that respect is the principal value we all should have with each other and with ourselves. I want to work to serve others, especially those most in need. I believe in the power and importance of art and nature in our lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new on couchsurfing , but i think is an amazing idea and i hope i can receive someone in my house one day, and to be received by someone when i travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think it could be a very good experience to know a country, by staying at people's home and not in hotels.

Interests

I am very interested on environmental issues, especially about climate change and natural resource management with economic approach. Also, I'm very interested in social work, especially working with underprivileged children. Science and art are also important for me like a complement of my life. I love dancing and singing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i have done in my lifetime is sharing time and experience with children who are in difficult conditions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am good with math and i like it a lot, i have taught it to some children. I know a lot about Colombia, specially policy and history. I like to sing, and i don't do it so bad, and i like to dance. I would like to improve my english language skills, and learn a lot about the different cultures in the world.
