I have just finished a 6 months trip around Southeast Asia. I could say that I am still landing in Barcelona...

I am from Vitoria, a small town in the Basque Country. I have been living in Barcelona for the last 8 years, where I usually have a very simple and delicious life: working from monday to friday; enjoying a lot of time with my friends having some beers in a terrace or enjoying great food & wine anywere; playing football a couple of days of the week (altough I am geting old...); and living in a great flat with a great terrace in the center of BCN. With a beautiful cat called Neskita :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I oppened my account in CS as soon as I heard about it when I started planning my trip. My great travel mate Clara (you can know this amazing girl better in her CS profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2402529/profile) told me about Couchsurfing and I dind´t even think about exploring it. I think it perfectly fits with my idea of travelling and discovering new places: meeting and sharing time with the people that really live those places.

Also, before starting the trip back in March, we opened the doors of our home in Barcelona and hosted some people in order to experience the other side of the coin. The experience was totally worth it and reinforced our idea of CS'ing during our trip in Southeast Asia.

Now, I don't think I will travel again anywhere without trying to meet a great CS on the way...

[Books] To be honest, I don´t read that much right now. But best last best novels I read:
- Diablo Guardián. Xavier Velasco
- La Reina del Sur. Arturo Pérez-Reverte
- Cometas en el cielo. Khaled Hosseini

I also enjoyed reading The lean start-up (Eric Ries), an interesting approach to understanding digital start-ups and their business models.

Algo increíble que he hecho

- Taking the decission to start a long journey through Southeast Asian with Clara, and make most of it hitchhiking. Until now it's been one of the best experiences in my life...
- Watching whales in Ecuador.
- Feeding and washing an elephant in the east of Cambodia.
- Swiming in the sea during the night to see luminescent plankton. Magic...
- Quiting smoking after 18 long years!!! :)
- Hitchhiking to Bromo's crater, an amazing volcano in Java, Indonesia.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am pasionate about the Internet and everything related to data analysis. I am a teacher at varios universities and business schools in Spain: web analytics, optimization, SEM... I love sharing my knowleadge in this areas. If you are interested it would be a pleasure to chat with you about this issues.

I am basque. I play Mus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mus_(card_game)). It´s the best card game I know and very traditional in some regions of Spain. Do you want to play? :)

And if you like sports... I love football. I really love it. Playing and watching. And talking about it, of course :D I also used to play ping-pong some years ago. I´d love to play it again while travelling. ..

Most imoprtant thing: I love sharing time and stories with people around me.
