Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a dream to visit India for some years. When I graduated university, me and my boyfriend decided to make this dream come true and we started planing this trip. So, we quit our jobs and on 1st of November we start living on our dream. On 1st of November we come to Delhi and until 31 of January we plan to visit:
Delhi, Rishikesh, Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi, Calcutta, Andaman or Nicobar islands, Kerala and Goa. This is approximate plan, so we can change our plans and visit other cities if we get high recommendations to visit it, or it seems very inconvenient to follow our plan.
Couchsurfing is the possibility to feel living in this country better, to feel culture, to see how do people live for real, not in hotels.
Finding new friends here is much more interesting than just travelling

Interests

I enjoy exploring new places, searching for interesting alternative music, participating in musical or art events, watching movies, taking photos, painting and getting to know other people, other cultures. I am interested in culture of India: in how do people look like, how do they behave.
I am used to go to musical events in my country where elements of India are used: psychedelic psy trance music, decorations, visuals of Indian gods, henna art painting. All these thing looks amazing and it makes me want to visit hometown of this culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to various music, especially electronic and other alternative: reggae, jungle, dnb, psychedelic chill, ambient and psy trance, also other experimental kind of electronic music.

I like reading romans and publicistic books. Latest books I enjoyed are some of Charles Bukowski.

I watch non commercial movies, especially positive french movies. Some of my favourities movies: "Venuto al mondo", "Frida", "Whatever it works", "Promise me". I admire Audrey Tatou, Penelope Cruz, Woody Allen..
