Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because my first time couchsurfing transformed my way of viewing people. how beautiful is it, to learn the stories of ordinary humans who aren't at all ordinary, but extraordinary because no two people are the same. how amazing is it to learn from people who will show you their perspectives, and who will cherish these differences and learn from each other; how else would i have known that taking photos of food is an inherently and specially asian thing?

Interests

urban development, nature, food, arts (esp music), quaint bookshops, hole-in-the-wall food outlets. politics, especially international security. data stuffs (analysis, science etc).

i'm a classical music guy, but am very happy to hear more! Listen to Cantonese pop a lot too, even though I don't speak it.

I think everyone should read Crime and Punishment.
