I just came back from gap year in Asia. I was living in China and Vietnam, it was the most amazing and inspiring period of my life and I'm happy that share all the experiences! I am a very optimistic person. I lead active lifestyle, I am learning languages, doing sports. No time to get bored ;p I think world is too big to spend life in one place so I travel a lot. I love visiting new places, meeting people and listening to their stories. So why don't we meet? ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a perfect way to connect meeting people and travelling. Staying in a hotel for one week is not the best way to gain knowledge about the country and it's culture. I think staying in the country for a couple of months and working there is but it's not always an option so couchsurfing is what you need in such situations ;)

Interests

I love reading books. My favourites are classic books, like Dickens or Tolstoy, but I appreciate all kinds of books, I can spend long hours reading!
I like learning languages, I have been learning english since I was 6, now I am fluent. I have been learning german for 5 years, recently I've started learning russian. I think that if you are determined and you learn every day it is possible to learn a language very good :)
I love travels! I have visited a few countries in Europe and I have been to America once, but it is never too much, I would love to visit other countries and continents!
I love sport. Not any particular discipline, I just like being active. My favourite sport is riding a bike, but I also like jogging, skating and many other sports!
I spend time with my friends, I love making new friends too :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is Anna Karenina, but I was also very impressed by One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest(Kesey), Of Mice and Men(Steinbecck), 1984(Orwell), Birdy(Wharton), The Beach Alexander Garland and many other.
My favourite movie is Shawshank Redemption. I also like other King's based movies and thrillers in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent 3 months in America, nine weeks I was working as a Counselor on summer camp. I was travelling for 3 weeks after that. It was an amazing experience, I made lots of international friends, I get to know american culture much better and I had a great time! Before coming to America I was terrified of what can happen, but now, after doing it I feel stronger and proud of myself!

Now I am begining a new stage in my life after oje year of living in Chengdu, China and Hanoi in Vietnam where I worked as a teacher. After graduation I decided to move out to a foreign continent that is as far from my home as possible and I still can't believe I did it! :D Now I'm back, ready to explore my own, beautiful continent

Teach, Learn, Share

We can make a language exchange, I would teach polish with pleasure. I can also show you how to rollerblade! I would love to learn geman better, any other languages would also be great. I would love to learn how to skateboard. You can teach me to cook a dish traditional for your country, that would be cool!
