Its Maria. I moved from Granada to Prague 2 years ago. I work here now in HR and since my passion is travelling I will try to visit as many countries in Europe as I can during this year.

I usually travel with my best friend from Spain, Isabel or with my boyfriend Jan, from Czech republic.

What I like the most when travelling is finding unknown places with the locals, meeting amazing people and have interesting conversations. I cant leave without trying the typical food and for me the best break from walking around the city is sitting somewhere and have a very cold beer to recover and get energy to continue.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found that there is a great Couchsurfing community in Prague, organizing meetings and activities and I really like the vibes. Meeting new people in the city, visitors or people who just arrive to find a job and they are as lost as you were when you came... I like sharing the stories and tips about the city because that is the best way to find amazing places, events, and people.
I used to be a host in Airbnb in Granada but I want to try something new now that I will have also a place to offer in Prague. I want to see if Couchsurfing will give me another perspective about how to travel and share with the community.
