Hi there!
My name is Dzvinka and I'm 21 year old Ukrainian living in Lviv.
I am an English-Ukrainian book translator/ simultaneous interpreter. I regard translation as a tool to do what I love, for example working for international film festivals or multinational missions, being a part of conferences or meetings I'm interested in, and volunteering for various organizations.
I've spent almost 2 years working in the sphere of human rights protection, namely in Amnesty International Ukraine, and social initiatives/volunteer projects.
It's hard to compile a list of things that interest me because it's literally e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. I love art, philosophy, natural sciences, psychology and cultural studies, as well as all sorts of activities like mountain hiking, riding everything that has wheels on it 😁, swimming, trampoline jumping and maaaany more.

I strongly believe in kindness, love, compassion and empathy, and I'm convinced that there's something beautiful in each human and each place in the world. Therefore, as mentioned in the film Nostalghia by Andrei Tarkovsky, we should expand our souls as much as possible like a canvas. For me, traveling is a means of 'expanding my soul', broadening my outlook and getting acquainted with new cultures.
